Adjunct Faculty, Geographic Information Systems

Austin Community College is hiring Adjunct Faculty in Geographic Information Systems with 2 openings. The position is responsible for preparing and delivering GIS coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and creating an environment that promotes belonging for all. Requires a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in geography or geospatial coursework in accordance with SACSCOC accreditation standards, plus three years of non-teaching GIS work experience. Candidates must demonstrate mastery of GIS subject matter and proficiency using GIS programs, computer applications, classroom or other current learning technologies for effective teaching at the community college level.
