Apprentice Geospatial Analyst

Leidos has an entry-level opportunity within their Geospatial Integration and Solutions Portfolio for an Apprentice Geospatial Analyst to support contracts centered on GEOINT data production for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. The Apprentice GIS Analyst provides support in geospatial analysis of satellite imagery to perform feature data extraction, interacts daily with supervisors and functional peer groups, and works within a dynamic team of geospatial analysts, data scientists, and software engineers dedicated to producing datasets that support national defense and humanitarian assistance missions globally. Required skills include ArcGIS experience (preferably with ArcGIS Pro), understanding of cartographic products, photo interpretation, and vector data editing. This is an entry-level position with no security clearance required to start. The role offers a flexible work schedule including the option to work from home or in the office within a close-knit team environment. Located in Reston, Virginia with remote work available.
