Apprentice GIS Data Analyst

Leidos offers an entry-level Apprentice GIS Data Analyst role supporting geospatial data production within their Geospatial Integration and Solutions Portfolio. The position involves collaborating with geospatial analysts, data scientists, and software engineers on datasets for national defense and humanitarian assistance missions globally. Responsibilities include supporting geospatial data production for national defense and humanitarian missions, ensuring high-quality data outputs aligned with client requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, U.S. Citizenship, experience with Microsoft Office in a Windows environment, and completion of ESRI ArcPro online training, GIS coursework with ArcMap/Pro experience, or open-source GIS platform training such as QGIS. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field, Python for GIS experience (ArcPy or equivalent), maritime applications experience. Salary range $30,550-$55,225 annually.
