CAD/GIS Technician

Montrose Environmental Group is hiring a CAD/GIS Technician in Tampa, Florida. The role involves supporting environmental projects through design and drafting work that bridges traditional CAD and GIS workflows. Responsibilities: create site plans for environmental compliance, remediation, and engineering projects; edit maps and GIS datasets in ArcGIS Pro; migrate AutoCAD files to GIS environments; conduct site visits for data collection and verification; produce cartographic deliverables for technical reports; coordinate with civil engineers and environmental scientists on landfill, civil infrastructure, and remediation projects; and other duties within a collaborative team environment. The position is ideal for technicians who can independently move between AutoCAD design work and ArcGIS spatial analysis. Required qualifications: 2+ years AutoCAD experience with minimal supervision needed; 1+ year ArcGIS experience with independent project delivery capability; background in civil infrastructure, landfill, or environmental projects; ability to interpret technical procedures and drawings; strong organizational and communication skills; collaborative, self-motivated professional approach.
