Joining the Mitigation Directorate within FEMA's Office of Resilience offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a team that builds and delivers creative solutions to empower communities to become more resilient and adaptable to intensifying hazards. In this Emergency Management Specialist (Geospatial) position, typical assignments include: Applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify and implement effective solutions. Producing maps and data products expressing the results of analytical processes using ESRI products, Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, or other programming languages. Facilitating data coordination and collaboration for disaster recovery among Tribal, state, and local governments, the private sector, and voluntary, faith-based, and community organizations. Salary GS-13: $121,785-$158,322 per year.
