Facilities Planning GIS Student Assistant

Supports campus planning, facilities, and operational initiatives by assisting with the collection, organization, analysis, and visualization of spatial data. Provides hands-on experience applying GIS concepts to real-world projects while supporting faculty and staff with mapping, data maintenance, and basic spatial analysis. Duties include collecting spatial data from fieldwork, online sources, or campus records; editing and maintaining GIS datasets and geodatabases; performing basic spatial analysis and geoprocessing tasks; creating maps and visualizations for reports and presentations.
