Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist I, II, or III

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever seek a Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist (I, II, or III) based in Moorhead, MN to promote conservation programs, write conservation plans, and provide technical assistance to landowners on habitat improvement across Clay County. The biologist conducts site assessments, identifies native and non-native plants, and serves as the primary wildlife expert for the service area, supporting Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) implementation, Reinvest in Minnesota easements, and Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) work, plus landowner outreach. GIS and mapping are core office-based tools (roughly 30% of work time): applicants must have the ability to use GIS mapping programs or closely related software, with ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap experience preferred, to create maps, conduct spatial analysis, and visualize habitat data that inform conservation plans and coordinate voluntary habitat programs.
