Fellow (Post Doc) - Geospatial Analysis

Postdoctoral Fellow position assessing the spatial distribution of CRP in Kansas and the Great Plains, examining potential for soil carbon sequestration related to soil type, climate, and yield potential, and evaluating vulnerability of land conversion to cultivated agriculture and benefits of neighboring grasslands for wildlife habitat. Requires experience with soil carbon modeling, geospatial analysis, and statistical analyses. Will conduct research, prepare technical reports and scientific journal articles, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team of ecologists, soil scientists, and modelers. Salary $68,000-$72,000.
