The Department of Technology is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst Engineer to join the SFGIS Program and be the primary analyst specialist assisting the Public Safety Wiring group with their fiber network asset mapping effort. Salary: $140,764.00 - $177,060.00 annually ($66.68 - $83.86 hourly). Responsibilities include analyzing and visualizing infrastructure using ArcFM and ArcGIS software, maintaining current and accurate GIS data, supporting new GIS initiatives, conducting spatial analysis, and training city personnel on GIS tools. Requires Associate degree in computer science or related field (60+ semester or 90+ quarter units), or one year enterprise network experience. Desirable: public safety infrastructure project experience, fiber network or telecommunications mapping knowledge, SQL/Python/GIS automation programming skills, Esri Technical or GISP certifications.
