A full-time Lecturer position beginning August 2026 to teach four courses including Introduction to GIS, Advanced GIS, Remote Sensing, and Python Programming for GIS. The position involves preparing and delivering course lectures, designing laboratory exercises, supervising student research projects, and contributing to the department's assessment and curriculum development activities. The lecturer will teach undergraduate and graduate students in GIS concepts, spatial analysis, remote sensing image processing, and geospatial programming. Required qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a closely related field. Experience teaching GIS and remote sensing courses at the university level is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro, ENVI, Google Earth Engine, and Python for geospatial applications is expected.
