GeoBase CAD Subject Matter Expert

Woolpert is hiring a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their Department of the Air Force (DAF) GeoBase team based in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves providing geospatial CAD expertise for Air Force installations, supporting the GeoBase program which manages geospatial data and mapping for Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating installation geospatial data, providing CAD and GIS technical support, developing geospatial standards and procedures, converting CAD drawings to GIS-compatible formats, performing quality assurance on geospatial data products, training installation personnel on GeoBase tools and workflows, and coordinating with AFCEC on geospatial program requirements. The position is on-site 4 days at AFCEC with 1 day working remotely. Required qualifications include experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and geospatial data management, understanding of military installation GeoBase programs, and a degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
