GeoBase GIS Analyst

Woolpert is hiring a GeoBase GIS Analyst to work at Lackland Air Force Base (AFB) in San Antonio, Texas. This is an on-site role with a schedule of 4 days working at the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) on Lackland AFB and 1 day working remotely. The GeoBase GIS Analyst will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting United States Department of the Air Force (DAF) installations for the DAF GeoBase Program. The analyst will manage Air Force Civil Engineering GIS data in an enterprise environment, working with program stakeholders to support capabilities, requirements, technical issues, and training, and will develop and implement enterprise capabilities and data stewardship processes in support of DAF GeoBase Program objectives at installations worldwide. GeoBase analysts utilize Esri ArcGIS desktop and enterprise solutions to meet installation and DAF GeoBase Program geospatial requirements in coordination with GeoBase Service Desk managers. What you will do: create and maintain Air Force Civil Engineering GIS data in an enterprise environment, managing a versioned, multi-user geodatabase; create, update, and produce a variety of installation, range, and vicinity maps, drawings, plans, and other graphic representations using cartographic techniques to represent spatial data; and perform regular and frequent data updates in coordination with analysts or government personnel located at DAF installations and other locations.
