Geodetic Surveyors at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency perform geodetic, geophysical, and handheld GEOINT surveys, use, maintain, and troubleshoot survey equipment, and compute, adjust, and evaluate geodetic survey data. The role involves operating GNSS receivers, total stations, and terrestrial/mobile LiDAR systems. Surveyors process geodetic baseline data using specialized software, conduct field work in harsh environmental conditions, perform scientific and statistical analysis, and collaborate with teams on agency missions. They provide expertise to customers and represent the agency in external forums. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Geodesy, Mathematics, Physical Science, or a related discipline that includes at least 30 semester hours of coursework in relevant fields including Photogrammetry, Geodetic Surveying, and other surveying-related disciplines. Requires Top Secret/SCI security clearance, counterintelligence polygraph examination, drug testing, and U.S. citizenship. This is a permanent, full-time excepted service position with Pay Band IA 02. Professional Engineer or Land Surveyor certification is highly desirable. Salary: $51,740-$90,597/year.
