The position involves managing spatial information for public land administration, including designing and maintaining geospatial databases, converting digital data across multiple formats, developing geospatial applications for planning processes, and coordinating data acquisition and analytical solutions. Implements advanced analytical techniques to solve complex geospatial and GIS issues, develops new insights into complex GIS situations, and applies innovative solutions to novel GIS problems. GS-09 requires one year specialized GIS experience at GS-07 level or Master's degree in related field. GS-11 requires one year specialized experience at GS-09 level or Ph.D. in related field. Permanent full-time position with telework available at agency discretion. Salary range: $61,111-$96,116 per year.
