The role focuses on review, assessment, and interpretation of water utility project drawings to maintain water system assets in GIS environments. Primary duties include: Creating and maintaining geospatial data using ArcGIS Pro within enterprise geodatabases. Interpreting engineering and construction drawings for accurate GIS data entry. Performing quality assurance using GIS tools and topology rules. Producing cartographically accurate maps supporting operations and planning. Responding to map and data requests from internal and external stakeholders. Collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and field personnel. Qualifications Required: Completion of 60 college semester units (junior standing equivalent) with 12 units in drafting, mathematics, GIS, computer science, engineering, or surveying (including algebra and geometry). Two years of GIS mapping/drafting experience or related civil engineering work. Valid California driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
