Cannabis for Conservation, a science-based 501(c)(3) environmental nonprofit advancing ecological stewardship across private working lands in Northern California, seeks a Geospatial Analyst to support landscape-scale sediment reduction efforts by developing and managing the geospatial systems that guide rural infrastructure improvements and watershed restoration work. Responsibilities include conducting UAV-based LiDAR operations and drone flight planning, processing geospatial data using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, and Survey123, generating terrain models (DEM/DSM/contours) and infrastructure assessments, creating field-ready tools for construction planning and compliance monitoring, and developing standardized field workflows and pre/post-project mapping to document restoration outcomes. Requires expertise in GIS and remote sensing technologies, ability to work effectively in rugged field environments, and experience translating complex environmental data into clear, actionable insights. Full-time permanent hybrid position with fieldwork across Humboldt, Trinity, and Mendocino counties.
