Geospatial Analysts create, analyze, and interpret spatial data to support U.S. military and policymaker interests. They apply knowledge of geographic information science and technology, statistics, spatial thinking, remote sensing, intelligence issues, and the social and physical sciences to characterize events, discover relationships and trends, and produce geospatial intelligence. NGA Omaha is located at Offutt AFB and provides a unique opportunity to work in a GEOINT-rich environment designed to meet the national strategic threats of today and tomorrow. NGA USSTRATCOM is a team of professionals providing USSTRATCOM with the highest level of relevant geospatial intelligence, supporting Strategic Deterrence, Nuclear Operations, and Missile Defense. Mandatory qualifications include: experience utilizing geospatial data or intelligence to perform geospatial analysis; experience with geospatial database management or throughputs; experience using critical thinking skills and data analytics to solve problems; and experience using geospatial data in analytic processes, techniques, or tools. Education requirement: Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, Physical Science, Data Analytics, Cartography, Statistics, or related field, OR a bachelor's degree with a GIS certificate, OR equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 4 years. Salary: $75,425-$139,753/year (IA-03). Requires Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph. Permanent, full-time position.
