Geospatial Analyst

Texas A&M AgriLife Research seeks a Geospatial Analyst in Temple, Texas to conduct research on remote sensing and machine learning to develop models for spatial data products needed in agricultural systems modeling. Core responsibilities include developing machine learning models for crop property estimation using satellite data, implementing spatial data processing algorithms, and contributing to research publications. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science or a related field with 4 years of experience (or a Master's with 2 years), proficiency with ArcGIS, R, and/or Python for spatial data processing, experience building and deploying machine learning models, and satellite remote sensing and data mining expertise.
