Geospatial Data Engineer

TomTom seeks a Geospatial Data Engineer to join the Maps Geo Intelligence team, sitting at the intersection of technical expertise, design thinking, and documentation. The role focuses on transforming complex mapping requirements into clear, actionable specifications that drive results for end-to-end production of comprehensive and functional maps. Responsibilities include analyzing TomTom map requirements and converting them into clear specifications aligned with customer needs, exploring emerging technologies and methodologies in mapping, identifying specification process problems and proposing solutions, and collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering Managers. Requires strong technical foundation in geospatial data, research-oriented mindset, exceptional communication skills, and strong analytical abilities. Flexible work: two office days weekly, three remote.
