World Wildlife Fund (WWF-US) is seeking a Geospatial Data Manager to support conservation science and program delivery across the organization. This position involves managing WWF's geospatial data infrastructure, coordinating spatial data across conservation programs, and developing mapping tools for field teams and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining WWF's enterprise GIS environment including ArcGIS Online organization, developing and enforcing geospatial data standards and governance policies, building web mapping applications and dashboards for conservation monitoring, processing and analyzing remote sensing data for habitat monitoring and change detection, supporting field teams with mobile GIS solutions for biodiversity surveys and monitoring, managing relationships with commercial satellite imagery providers, coordinating spatial data sharing with partner organizations and government agencies, training conservation staff on GIS tools and spatial analysis techniques, and contributing to grant proposals and donor reports with geospatial analysis. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, environmental science, or related field (master's preferred), plus 5+ years of professional GIS experience. Advanced proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS platform required. Experience with remote sensing, cloud computing, and web GIS development preferred. Knowledge of conservation biology, biodiversity monitoring, and environmental policy a plus. Located in Washington, DC with hybrid work options.
