U-Spatial is seeking a Geospatial Developer (Research Associate) with a strong background in remote sensing and geospatial analytics. Lead analyst and developer on large scale GIS and remote sensing projects (70%), design and implement advanced remote sensing workflows, assist in building analytical infrastructure for computational geospatial processing. Also includes education and consulting (20%) and professional development (10%). Requires advanced degree in geography, GIS, remote sensing, or related fields with 3+ years experience in satellite imagery processing, GIS, and geospatial computing. Strong Python programming skills required. Hybrid work option available on Duluth or Twin Cities campus.
