Geospatial Information Specialist

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a Geospatial Information Specialist responsible for coordination and development of high quality, cost effective Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools, systems applications, and programs. Key duties include developing and maintaining GIS databases, creating maps and geospatial products, coordinating geospatial applications across the organization, performing spatial analyses to support civil works and military programs, managing enterprise GIS infrastructure, providing technical guidance on geospatial data standards, and training staff on GIS technologies. The position requires experience with ESRI ArcGIS suite, geodatabase management, Python scripting for automation, and web mapping technologies. Must demonstrate knowledge of geospatial data standards, metadata creation, and quality assurance procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, cartography, or related field. GS-11/12 position with salary range of $72,553-$113,047 per year. U.S. citizenship required.
