Jacobs is seeking a Geospatial Surveying Intern for Summer 2026 in Portland, OR (hybrid). This internship provides hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure projects within the Pacific Northwest. Responsibilities include assisting with data collection using surveying instruments, processing and analyzing geospatial data, creating and updating GIS databases and maps, integrating geospatial data with CAD drawings and BIM models, and collaborating on civil infrastructure, urban development, and environmental monitoring projects. As a Summer Intern, you will work alongside established geospatial professionals on a range of data capture, management, analysis, and digital delivery solutions. Throughout the program, you'll receive personalized guidance from mentors, people leaders, and Programme Champions with opportunities to connect with colleagues and fellow interns. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Geomatics, Geospatial Technologies, Civil Engineering, Surveying Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution. Familiarity with geospatial software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center preferred. Experience with data collection equipment like total stations, GPS receivers, or laser scanners. Duration: June 1-30 through August 2026 start. Salary: $54,400-$65,200 per year.
