Geospatial Technician, Aviation

Woolpert is seeking a Geospatial Technician for their Aviation team based in or near Kansas City, Missouri. This position is primarily responsible for creating geospatial data and layouts to support Aviation projects. Key responsibilities include utilizing ArcGIS Pro to manipulate data and create detailed layouts, preparing and organizing geospatial data for analysis and presentation, maintaining consistent data management practices to ensure data accuracy and integrity, generating reports and visualizations from geospatial data, interpreting and editing digital maps for accuracy and updates, and providing support to senior technicians in various tasks and maintenance duties. Required qualifications include a BA/BS degree in Geospatial Technologies or commensurate years of professional geospatial-related experience. Experience with ArcGIS Pro is required. Additional qualifications include familiarity with cartographic design within GIS, experience with raster data and spatial databases, and knowledge of ArcGIS Aviation Extension. Candidates must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, intermediate verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external interactions, and strong problem-solving abilities.
