Geospatial Technician

Maurer-Stutz, Inc. (MSI) seeks a full-time Geospatial Technician focused on fiber support to assist with geospatial data development and maintenance for fiber broadband infrastructure projects. The position supports GIS data development, mapping, and quality control for fiber broadband infrastructure projects. Primary responsibilities include installation, configuration, maintenance, training, and documentation of commercial, in-house, and custom GIS processes, services, and workflows. Additional duties include providing technical support, application documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of geospatial applications, manipulating and maintaining map documents/projects, performing geoprocessing tasks, and automating redundant tasks using tools such as model builder, FME, and/or Python. Previous experience supporting geospatial client-server applications, databases, and ETL processes is required. Education requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Geography/GIS, Science, Engineering, or related field, OR an Associate's Degree with GIS emphasis, OR a GIS Certificate. Experience with ESRI products including ArcGIS Pro is preferred. Salary range: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour. Application deadline: April 13, 2026. Location: Peoria, IL with remote work option available.
