GIS Administrator

Co-manages the ESRI software suite and supports geospatial data management, spatial analysis, Feature Service management, and reporting for the Town of Cary Information Technology department. Primary duties include enterprise data management, configuring Feature Services, providing tier 2 support for GIS applications, user education, and maintaining public safety GIS data systems. Requires Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, or related field, plus extensive experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise. Essential skills include SQL Server proficiency, branch versioning expertise, Python/ArcPy knowledge, and feature service configuration experience. Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Additional requirements include drug testing, background check, CJIS access and certification eligibility, and willingness to participate in emergency response activities. Salary: $97,323 - $160,555 annually (anticipated hiring range: $110,000 - $118,000).
