Uses ESRI's ArcGIS Pro software to assist in the maintenance of data within Enterprise GIS. Duties include supporting data review of auto-generated water service laterals, supporting data collection and review of GPS data points, assisting with linking as-built drawings to Fairfax Water's water system maps, and supporting custom map needs including data visualization of Occoquan Reservoir and watershed water quality trends. Requires actively pursuing a degree in Geography, GIS, Data Science, Engineering or a related field. Experience reading and interpreting maps, drawings and relating them to existing GIS data. General knowledge of Microsoft Office products required. Familiarity with ESRI's ArcGIS or ArcGIS Pro software helpful. Interns are not eligible for company benefits.
