GIS Analyst

The County of Riverside Registrar of Voters is recruiting a GIS Analyst responsible for creating boundary maps for county customers, maintaining election management systems for voter registrations, and processing orders for precinct and boundary requests. The position offers a hybrid telework schedule based on business need, though full-time office presence is required during elections. Key responsibilities include performing data modeling and integrating spatial layers; executing quality control on GIS and attribute information; consulting with end users to determine system needs; developing project work plans and monitoring resources; creating cartographic products using GIS software and databases; and maintaining and updating spatial information layers. Minimum qualifications: Option I - Four years of GIS experience (no education requirement) OR Option II - Bachelor's degree in computer science, geography, or related field (no experience required). Knowledge of geography, GIS, mathematics, automated drafting, map design, and survey principles required. Incumbents must be available to work weekends and holidays, including mandatory overtime. Full-time office presence mandatory during election periods. Salary: $81,010.64 - $109,749.73 annually. Closing date: March 19, 2026.
