The Environmental Integrity Project, a nonprofit environmental watchdog organization focused on holding industrial polluters and government agencies accountable under environmental law, is seeking a GIS Analyst. Working with EIP's team of researchers, lawyers, and journalists, the GIS Analyst will compile, manage, analyze, visualize and map data related to air and water pollution, environmental justice, industrial infrastructure, and more. Key responsibilities include submitting public information requests to state and federal government agencies, obtaining records and reviewing responses, assisting with fieldwork and case development, communicating findings and methods to general and technical audiences, and researching and writing reports, fact sheets, memoranda, and website content. Location: Washington, DC or Remote. Requires four years of relevant professional experience (including internships) and a 4-year college degree or higher in geography, environmental sciences, or related fields. Proficiency with GIS software (ArcGIS or QGIS) and data analytics software (R or Python) required. Salary range: $62,000-$82,000 per year.
