GIS Analyst

Applies academic knowledge and professional experience to handle data management and GIS-related assignments involving environmental assessments, groundwater remediation, water resources, and geotechnical projects at Geosyntec Consultants. Creates and manages spatial data using Esri ArcGIS software. Produces maps and visualizations for reporting and client presentations. Delivers web-based mapping products via Experience Builder, Dashboards, and Story Maps. Designs field data collection applications using ArcGIS Portal and Survey 123. Manages enterprise GIS data and supports environmental remediation projects. Collaborates with internal and external clients on data visualization needs. Requires Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, science, or geology, minimum 2 years GIS technical training/experience (5 years preferred), proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and geoprocessing, expertise in cartography and web-based mapping applications. Preferred: environmental consulting experience, Python/Arcade/R/SQL scripting, GNSS/GPS field data collection. Salary: $70,595-$110,125.
