Goochland County, Virginia is seeking a GIS Analyst to perform advanced technical duties in the development, analysis, maintenance, and delivery of geographic information system (GIS) data and services. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining GIS datasets using ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and AGOL, providing geospatial data, services, maps, and reports to citizens and county departments, supporting the county's 911 CAD dispatch system, managing GIS server environments and web-based applications, integrating data across multiple databases and software systems, collaborating with state and federal agencies on GIS datasets, troubleshooting GIS issues and providing user support, and researching legal documents and maintaining metadata compliance. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, Computer Science, or related field with minimum 5 years of full-time professional GIS Analyst experience using ESRI software in government or enterprise environments. Valid Virginia driver's license required. GISP certification preferred. Preferred: 5 years of local or state government experience, knowledge of E911 addressing and CAD integration, expertise with ArcGIS Enterprise database management. Full-time, on-site only. Salary: $70,000-$79,000 annually.
