GIS Analyst

Helix Water District seeks a GIS Analyst to maintain accurate, relevant GIS data and systems while collaborating across the organization to support water utility operations in La Mesa, California. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain GIS applications and data layers supporting water distribution system operations. Automate workflows using scripting and GIS programming tools. Ensure data integrity and perform quality assurance/quality control procedures. Integrate GIS systems with enterprise platforms including asset management and work order systems. Provide documentation and training to staff GIS users. Support mapping and spatial analysis requests from engineering, operations, and planning teams. Key Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or related field. Minimum five years of progressively responsible GIS experience. Minimum three years of experience designing and developing GIS systems and applications. Must obtain Esri ArcGIS Pro associate certification within 18 months of hire. Salary: $112,944–$144,164 annually. Benefits: 100% employee health premiums covered by employer. Annual 5% merit increases. CalPERS membership and pension.
