GIS Analyst

The Sanborn Map Company is seeking a GIS Analyst for their Operations department. Founded in 1866, Sanborn is one of the oldest continuously operating mapping and geospatial information technology companies in the US. The GIS Analyst will support geospatial data production and analysis for a variety of mapping, surveying, and remote sensing projects. Key responsibilities include processing and analyzing geospatial datasets, creating and maintaining geodatabases, performing quality assurance and quality control on mapping products, developing maps and cartographic products for client deliverables, supporting LiDAR data processing and aerial imagery workflows, utilizing ArcGIS Pro and related ESRI tools for spatial analysis, collaborating with photogrammetrists and remote sensing specialists on project deliverables, and documenting workflows and metadata. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, geomatics, or related field, proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS platform, experience with geospatial data formats and coordinate systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Experience with Python scripting, LiDAR processing, and remote sensing data preferred. Multiple locations available.
