The City of Boise Parks Design Office is seeking a GIS Data Analyst. This temporary position (up to 19 hours/week) involves supporting development of high-quality mapping and geospatial products through data research, collection, and management across multiple databases while ensuring accuracy for digital and print outputs. Essential functions include GIS data design, development, and manipulation of geospatial products, research and verification of data from internal and external sources, complex geospatial analysis to generate statistics and solve problems, map design and cartographic production, end-user support and GIS software assistance, and training manual development. Required qualifications: Associate's degree in GIS, geography, or related field plus 2 years GIS software experience, functional knowledge of GIS concepts and database management, proficiency with ESRI GIS software and computer-aided drafting applications. Preferred: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience, GISP designation, experience with ArcSDE databases and network analysis. Salary: $21.41-$25.42/hour.
