GIS Developer & Systems Analyst

Lane County Technology Services is hiring a GIS Developer & Systems Analyst to provide advanced technical expertise in the design, development, and integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) across the enterprise. The role focuses on technical leadership, continuous improvement, and innovation within Lane County's growing GIS environment. Responsibilities include designing and developing GIS solutions; maintaining enterprise infrastructure; integrating spatial systems with broader organizational platforms; ArcGIS Enterprise administration including services, security, upgrades, and monitoring; designing integrations between GIS and enterprise systems; developing automation workflows; and creating web-based GIS applications. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 5-8 years of progressively responsible professional experience; expertise with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, SQL Server, PostgreSQL; programming proficiency in JavaScript, React, Python, .NET, Arcade, or similar languages; ability to design system integrations and develop automation workflows. Preferred: ESRI technical certifications; experience modernizing legacy systems while maintaining operational continuity; strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills; valid Oregon driver's license by appointment. Salary: $39.87-$51.94 per hour. Position based at Public Works Administration in Eugene, Oregon. Opening date April 3, 2026; closing April 27, 2026.
