Esri seeks an experienced thought leader in National Mapping and Charting to enable others to understand and solve common problems using geographic information systems (GIS). The role involves building the global mapping and charting community through industry thought leadership and collaboration with marketing and sales teams. Responsibilities include serving as the public face for national mapping and charting initiatives at industry events, supporting conferences and tradeshows, coordinating across Esri teams on mapping and charting issues, creating regular content including webinars and case studies, networking with industry influencers to position ArcGIS solutions, partnering with Business Partners on market opportunities, and developing marketing strategies for industry growth. Required qualifications: 8+ years managing basemap data production in national mapping or charting agencies, strong understanding of GIS, remote sensing, AI Deep Learning, and basemap data management, knowledge of competitive landscape, excellent communication and presentation skills, Bachelor's degree in geography, information systems, or related field, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Recommended: Master's degree in geography or information systems management. Compensation: $108,160 - $180,960 USD.
