GIS Industry Solutions Specialist - Water

Esri is seeking a GIS Industry Solutions Specialist for Water who serves as a subject matter expert in understanding how GIS, mapping, and location analytics can transform and modernize organizations within the water resources, environmental, and/or architecture, engineering, and construction industry. The role involves engaging with customers and internal teams to develop industry-specific GIS solutions, delivering presentations and demonstrations at conferences and customer sites, collaborating with product teams to align customer needs with Esri's technology roadmap, and providing strategic guidance on how ArcGIS technology can solve critical water infrastructure challenges. Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience working in water resources, hydraulic modeling, data analysis, or engineering, plus experience utilizing solutions such as ArcGIS, Arc Hydro, hydraulic modeling platforms, and digital twin technologies. The specialist will work closely with sales teams to support customer engagements, develop proof-of-concept demonstrations, and create industry-focused content. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to translate technical GIS capabilities into business value for water utility and environmental engineering customers.
