Door County's Register of Deeds Department in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin is seeking a GIS Intern to support spatial data initiatives. The role involves updating building footprint layers using 2025 orthophotography and maintaining GIS datasets including zoning boundaries, shorelines, and hydrographic features. Additional responsibilities include map production, developing GIS workflows, configuring cloud-based applications in ArcGIS Online, spatial data editing and quality control, documentation and metadata development, web-based GIS application configuration, and topology error correction and dataset maintenance. Requires current or recent enrollment in GIS, Geography, Planning, or related degree program, ArcGIS Pro coursework or practical experience, and basic understanding of spatial data editing.
