GIS Intern

The Village of Bellevue is seeking a GIS Intern for a seasonal, part-time paid internship offering summer work in municipal geographic information systems. The role involves assisting with the development, design, and data collection for municipal utilities, land use, parks, trees, facilities, assets, and information. Key responsibilities include GIS/GPS technical work supporting municipal operations; development of story maps, dashboards, and datasets; experience with Asset Management, planning, code enforcement, and permitting systems; and data collection and management across various municipal departments. Required qualifications: Intermediate proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS products including ArcPro and ArcGIS Online; current college junior/senior, graduate student, or recent graduate with major in GIS, geography, urban planning, land conservation, or environmental science. Minimum 35 hours weekly (except holiday weeks), flexible scheduling. No employee benefits provided. Location: Bellevue, WI.
