GIS Intern

The intern will maintain GIS databases for water infrastructure and stormwater systems, operate GPS equipment (Trimble units), develop online maps for field use, conduct onsite infrastructure evaluations, map water meters and service lines, digitize utility plans, and interact professionally with residents during home visits for water utility work. Requires proficiency with ESRI software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps), GPS knowledge, strong communication skills, customer service ability, and Microsoft Office competency. Preferred qualifications include CAD experience, municipal knowledge, and water utility familiarity. Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Geography or GIS. 12-15 weeks, minimum 28 hours/week up to 40 hours/week. Covered by Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) with 10% employee contribution.
