GIS Manager

El Paso County's Digital, Strategy, & Technology Department is seeking a GIS Manager in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves supervising GIS staff and overseeing enterprise GIS operations. Primary duties include supervising and mentoring the team, prioritizing GIS projects, serving as product manager for the enterprise GIS environment, managing ArcGIS Enterprise and Online systems, developing governance standards, managing vendor contracts, and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, geography, planning, or related field (or 4 years equivalent experience); 7+ years administering/supporting enterprise GIS systems; 3+ years supervisory or leadership experience in enterprise technology; demonstrated IT project or product management experience; valid driver's license. Full-time exempt position. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities as needed. Applicants must submit a cover letter and resume.
