Requirements: Four-year degree in GIS, Cartography, or Geography plus two years of relevant experience, OR a two-year degree with four years of professional development. Essential skills include Arc Info/ArcGIS proficiency, understanding of the Public Land Survey System, GPS knowledge, and valid Wisconsin driver's license. Work involves both office and field environments, requiring ability to negotiate uneven terrain and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Fieldwork uses Trimble Pro XR GPS and other surveying equipment.
