The Appalachian Conservation Corps, in partnership with the United States Forest Service at the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest Supervisor's Office, is seeking a GIS Natural Resources Technician. This is a full-time temporary AmeriCorps National Service position for 50 weeks (June 8, 2026 - May 21, 2027). The technician will support multiple programs including watershed, soil, and geology, with duties involving collecting, organizing, and managing geospatial data and performing geospatial analyses and map making. The program connects young professionals to conservation service work across Appalachia and neighboring regions. ACC operates under Conservation Legacy, a nationwide conservation network. Compensation: $900/week paid biweekly ($600/week living stipend + $300 additional member benefit).
