GIS Solution Engineer - AEC

Esri seeks a GIS expert to join their account team in an advisory capacity in Vienna, Virginia. The role involves identifying appropriate analytical tools and talking about solutions in ways that get others excited about the power of GIS technology. Candidates will address complex customer business challenges while demonstrating how spatial analysis drives business value. Key responsibilities: present and support Esri software solutions as part of account teams; develop subject matter expertise in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry; design and propose GIS-based solutions addressing customer pain points; deliver technical demonstrations at various venues including conferences. Required qualifications: 2+ years working with Esri technology (mapping, spatial analysis, web applications); 1+ years in or with the AEC industry; understanding of ArcGIS infrastructure (hardware, security, cloud computing); technical consulting and solution design experience; geodatabase and DBMS knowledge; bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, or related field; U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship); ability to travel 25-50% domestically/internationally. Recommended qualifications include troubleshooting skills, software integration experience, basic AI/ML knowledge, Python/JavaScript proficiency, master's degree, cloud platform experience, and 3D geospatial expertise. Salary: $79,248-$130,728.
