Esri seeks a GIS expert to support civilian sciences customers including USDA, Department of Interior, Department of Transportation, and Tribal communities. The role involves joining an account team to address complex business challenges and demonstrate GIS technology value. Key Responsibilities: Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value. Become a subject matter expert in civilian sciences and ArcGIS technologies. Present technical demonstrations and best practices to diverse audiences. Support sales strategies and participate in account planning. Present at conferences and trade shows. Required Qualifications: 3+ years with Esri technology (mapping, spatial analysis, web applications). 1+ years in civilian sciences or related scientific community. Understanding of ArcGIS IT infrastructure (hardware, security, networking, cloud). Technical consulting and solution design experience. Cloud computing knowledge (Azure or AWS). Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Travel capability (25-50%, typically ≤25%). Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, or related field. U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available. Recommended Qualifications: Troubleshooting client issues with Esri software. AI/machine learning concepts understanding.
