GIS Solution Engineer - Defense & Intelligence

Esri seeks a GIS professional with defense and intelligence expertise to serve as a technical advisor for complex customer challenges. Key responsibilities include proactively crafting and proposing solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to customers, becoming a subject matter expert of the defense and intelligence community as well as a technical expert of ArcGIS, building client relationships through demonstrations and presentations, and presenting technical solutions at conferences and industry events. Core requirements include minimum 2+ years with Esri technology (mapping, spatial analysis, web applications), 1+ years supporting Defense or Intelligence sectors, understanding of ArcGIS IT infrastructure, cloud computing knowledge (Azure or AWS), strong presentation skills, a Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, or a related field, U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship), and ability to obtain a security clearance. Compensation: $79,248-$130,728 USD base salary. Mid-level individual contributor role.
