GIS Solution Engineer - State and Local Government (Northeast)

Esri seeks a GIS Solution Engineer for State and Local Government in the Northeast (Requisition 2026-3626, Philadelphia, PA). The role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, identifying the right analysis tools for the problem at hand and serving as a subject matter expert for state and local government clients. Responsibilities: build client relationships and support sales strategies as part of an account team; develop deep expertise in ArcGIS and state/local government solutions; create solutions demonstrating GIS business value that address client challenges; and deliver technical demonstrations and presentations at conferences. Required qualifications: 2+ years with Esri technology (mapping, spatial analysis, web applications); 1+ years in state or local government work or support; ArcGIS IT context knowledge (infrastructure, security, cloud computing); technical consulting and solution design experience; geodatabase and DBMS proficiency; cloud computing knowledge (Azure or AWS); and a Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
