Tetra Tech is looking for a full-time, junior to mid-level Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist to join the Removal Assessment and Evaluation Services (RAES) team to assist in investigating and cleaning up abandoned uranium mines on and around the Navajo Nation. This position can be remote (you must live in the United States) or you can work in the Albuquerque, NM office. Key responsibilities include GIS and database preparation, metadata and dataset management, web mapping application development, and data analysis to support USEPA geospatial database requirements. Required qualifications include a minimum of 5+ years demonstrated work experience performing GIS, data management, and development tasks, in-depth knowledge and experience with Esri desktop, online, and mobile suite of applications including ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, Field Maps, Collector, and Quick Capture, and Python or ArcPy scripting proficiency. The specialist will work on environmental remediation projects for state and federal clients, contributing to cleanup efforts with significant environmental and public health impact.
