GIS Specialist Supervisor

Supervises a team of GIS staff including programmers, cartographers, data managers, analysts, and support specialists at the Department of Environmental Quality. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and scientists on project requirements, training non-GIS personnel, managing GIS software integration, maintaining and documenting GIS data, evaluating system functionality, recommending equipment upgrades, managing Enterprise GIS Server setup, overseeing GIS licenses and software upgrades, database administration (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), and web server administration (IIS, Apache/WordPress). Requires excellent customer service skills, outstanding project management and facilitation skills. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree, 5-7 years of GIS experience, and 2 years of supervisory experience. Salary: $72,357 - $112,236/year.
