GIS Specialist & Utility Data Coordinator

The City of Fargo is seeking a GIS Specialist & Utility Data Coordinator to lead GIS infrastructure maintenance, project management, and spatial data updates. Key responsibilities include coordinating multi-departmental utility data efforts, maintaining asset management systems, managing content in ArcGIS Online and Portal environments, overseeing communication with private businesses, developers, property owners and government agencies for maintaining spatial data, managing GIS projects and datasets for city departments, performing technical duties in GIS development and maintenance, updating and maintaining databases daily, developing quality control procedures, and providing training and support to other staff. Requires a Bachelor's degree in geography, civil engineering, computer science, or related field with GIS emphasis, plus four or more years GIS experience including four years with ESRI ArcGIS software. Valid driver's license required. GISP certification preferred. Required skills include thorough ArcGIS Online and Portal knowledge, cartographic technology expertise, Microsoft SQL Server knowledge, Python/Arcade scripting, and project management skills. Salary: $39.51-$44.26/hour.
